Ministrat e Jashtëm të BE-së do të kenë si pikë të parë angazhimin dhe situatën në Ballkanin Perëndimor në takimin e sotëm në Bruksel.
Ministrat do të diskutojnë për dialogun ndërmjet Beogradit dhe Prishtinës, ndërsa dokumenti për diskutim është përgatitur nga Shërbimi i Politikës së Jashtme të BE-së (EEAS).
Në dokument thuhet se në muajt e fundit “nuk ka pasur përparim në dialog”, dhe se atmosfera e përgjithshme rreth bisedimeve ndërmjet Beogradit dhe Prishtinës është “ende e ndërlikuar”.
“Fokusi duhet të kthehet në zbatimin e obligimeve ende të paplotësuara nga dialogu, duhet të përmirësohet atmosfera përmes lëvizjeve konkrete pozitive dhe të punohet në përparimin drejt një marrëveshjeje gjithëpërfshirëse për normalizim, dhe rrjedhimisht në të ardhmen evropiane të Kosovës dhe Serbisë. “, thuhet në dokumentin e përgatitur për diskutim ministror.
Vendeve anëtare u kërkohet të vazhdojnë të mbështesin ndërmjetësuesit e BE-së në dialog, Joseph Borrell dhe Miroslav Lajçak, dhe në një “nivel të lartë dialogu me Beogradin dhe Prishtinën”.
Përveç dialogut midis Beogradit dhe Prishtinës, ministrat e BE-27 do të diskutojnë situatën në Bosnjë e Hercegovinë, për të cilën Brukseli vlerëson se është aktualisht në “krizën më të keqe politike që nga miratimi i Dejtonit”.
EEAS thekson se zgjidhja mund të shihet në dialog, para së gjithash brenda BeH-së dhe se deri më tani në Bruksel nuk ka mbërritur asnjë propozim zyrtar për heqjen e mundshme të sanksioneve për zgjidhjen e bllokadës politike në BeH.
Në takimin në Bruksel, ministrat e jashtëm do të diskutojnë edhe sanksionet ndaj Bjellorusisë, për shkak të situatës me emigrantët në kufijtë me Poloninë dhe Lituaninë.
Ministrat nuk do të miratojnë masa të reja kufizuese të hënën, por do të miratojnë kuadrin ligjor për futjen e paketës së pestë të sanksioneve ndaj Minskut zyrtar, këtë herë kundër atyre që janë përgjegjës për krizën migrante, humanitare dhe gjeopolitike në kufijtë e jashtëm të BE-së.
